GARDEN DISCUSSION GROUP
Next meeting May 13th
TLC is starting a new program where you can ask questions, get advice, and learn new ideas for designing and maintaining beautiful gardens and landscapes with ecological benefits. The ‘Native Plant Garden Group’ will have a different focus topic each month with a short presentation, lots of discussion, and resources for participants.
Future topics include:
Plants for infiltrating rain water
Four season color and interest
Carbon capture with plants
Home yard management for ecological benefits
Pesticide-free gardening for healthy yards

Join TLC, Penn State Extension, and Galer Estate & Vineyard Winery for a presentation on the dreaded Spotted Lanternfly!
This invasive species is targeting our favorite crops, including bees and grapevines! Learn from Penn State Extension about the impacts and what you can do to stop this invader. Find out what this dreaded insect is doing to our Honey and honey bees in the area! Part of a lecture series.
The winery opens at 6 p.m.
The lecture begins at 6:30 p.m. Must be pre-registered - no at-event sales.
